Embarking on Global Ventures
In October 2021, the ORSKOREA (오알에스코리아) joined forces with the ORS Bearing (오알에스베어링) Team to take part in EMO 2021, hosted in the vibrant city of Milan, Italy. EMO stands as a renowned machine tool expo, standing alongside the Chicago International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). EMO 2021 revolved around the theme "The Magic World of Metalworking," emphasizing the significance of mold manufacturing – a domain that encompasses materials, components, and equipment. Remarkably, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the exhibition drew over 60,000 visitors from 91 countries.
A total of 700 companies from 24 countries, including Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, the USA, the UK, Japan, and Korea, actively participated in this global event. Our participation in the exhibition served as a vital opportunity to not only showcase our identity but also foster connections with fellow visitors and companies.
Shaping Tomorrow Together: Embracing Global Connections in the Aftermath of COVID-19
In a decisive move beyond pandemic challenges, the ORS Korea team shone brilliantly at this exhibition. Drawing visitors from Italy, Turkey, Germany, Spain, and beyond, our team showcased a remarkable lineup of 20 precision grinding machines, setting the stage for transformative progress on the global front. A notable highlight was our flagship product, the SGC 500K Centerless Grinding Machine, capturing the curiosity of over 70 enterprises. In the midst of a global audience, this pinnacle of innovation stood as a living testament to our unwavering pursuit of excellence and advancement.
Centerless Grinding Technology is utilized to process workpieces between a rotating abrasive wheel and a fixed support blade. Through the controlled relative movement between the high-speed rotating abrasive wheel and the stable support blade, this method achieves precision machining of components, meeting requirements for diameter, length, and surface finish.
This technique is significant in manufacturing essential components for future automotive innovations such as self-driving and electric vehicles. It also plays a crucial role in producing and refining parts that are integral to the era of the fourth industrial revolution, ensuring higher quality.
