Hello, This is Jho Whoun (James) Shim, Managing Director at ORSKOREA.
The new year of 2024 has arrived.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who have sent your love and support to ORSKOREA throughout the past year. I also would like to express my praise and encouragement to all the company representatives, managers, and employees who have done their best for the development of the national industry and society despite the difficult global economic situation.
In 2023, we devoted more time and effort to research and development than ever before. We are determined to make even more progress in the Year of the Rabbit, and we would like to share our 2024 vision with you.
Having worked in the machine tool industry for 30 years, I naturally think about the perspective of engineers around the world who start and end their day in front of the machine tools we made.
As AI technology and manufacturing technology continue to develop, the most advanced industrial equipment is being produced every day, and new technologies will pour out tomorrow. However, like many engineers in the industrial field, we also believe that our equipment is the best.
In an era where everyone says that their own products and solutions are the best, perhaps that is also true, given the many cutting-edge technologies that are open. However, I believe that the clear difference in technology comes from a very small place.
It is the heart of listening to what the customer wants. It is about understanding what the customer is uncomfortable with, what they want to improve, and what technologies are available in the newly manufactured equipment, and how to use them optimally from the customer's perspective.
Just like the latest smart phones have many technologies, but depending on the user, they may need specific functions, use only familiar functions, or learn and utilize new technologies. In order to provide the best possible productivity in different situations of customers, we will continue to work hard to create the best equipment by adding today's efforts to yesterday's efforts.

한 해 동안 오알에스코리아에 애정과 응원을 보내주신 모든 여러분께 진심으로 감사드립니다. 작년은 세계 경제의 녹록치 않은 상황이었음에도 불구하고 국가 산업과 사회 발전을 위해 최선을 다하신 모든 기업 대표님, 관리자분, 직원들께 찬사와 응원을 보냅니다.
저희는 2023년, 그 어느 해보다 연구개발과 마케팅에 많은 시간과 노력을 기울인 한 해였습니다. 올해 갑진년도 또한 더욱 박차를 가할 것을 다짐하며 저희의 2024년 포부를 공유해드리고자 합니다.
기계장비 산업에서 일한 지 30년, 자연스럽게 저희가 만든 기계 장비 앞에서 하루를 시작하고 하루를 마치실 세계 각국의 많은 엔지니어분들의 입장에서 고민하게 됩니다.
나날이 AI 기술과 함께 제조 기술이 발전하며 현재는 최첨단 산업 장비들이 매일같이 생산되며 내일이면 또 다른 새로운 기술들이 쏟아져 나옵니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 산업현장의 많은 엔지니어들이 그렇듯 저희 또한 저희 장비가 최고라고 자부합니다. 수많은 최첨단 기술들이 오픈되어 있기에 모두가 다 자기 제품과 솔루션이 최고라고 하는 시대에 어쩌면 그 또한 맞는 말이라고 생각이 듭니다.
그러나 그 기술력을 가르는 분명한 차이는 아주 작은데서 온다고 생각합니다. 바로 고객이 원하는 것이 무엇인지 듣는 마음입니다. 고객이 무엇이 불편한지, 어떤 걸 개선하고 싶은지와 새로 만든 장비에는 어떤 기술이 있으며 이것을 최적으로 사용하는 방법은 어떤 것인지 고객의 눈에 맞춰 드림으로써 저희 장비를 최대한으로 사용하여 생산성이 향상되고 작업자가 편해지도록 하는 일을 하는 겁니다.
최신 스마트폰에 수많은 기술을 넣어도 쓰는 사람에 따라 특정 기능을 필요로 하기도 하고 익숙한 기능만을 사용하기도 하고 새로운 기술을 배워 활용하기도 합니다. 이처럼 고객의 서로 다른 상황에서 가장 최상의 생산성을 올려드리기 위해 저희는 어제의 노력에 오늘의 노력을 더해 최상, 최고의 장비를 만들어 고객께 보답하기 위해 노력하겠습니다.
